engum illai - He is not to be found anywhere.
kaNDaduNDO - Have you seen
engaL sankaranai - our Lord Shiva?
ayyA - O Sir !

singAramAi iruppan - He is very handsome.
cinmayamAi iruppan - He is consciousness itself.
tanga mayamAi iruppan - He is golden coloured.
tannuL veLiyAi iruppan - He is the space inside each of us (daharakasha).

aivalliyai - the beautiful creeper-like lady (Mohini) ?

avan maraindananO -did He disappear
iru pAdiyAlum - with both halves (taken) ?
jyOti AginanO - Did He become the Jyoti

karuNAkaran mAlum -the merciful Vishnu
kamalAlayan - and Brahma, residing on the lotus

Note : Bhasmasura received a boon from Shiva that if he placed his hand on anyone's head that person would be burnt to ashes. He proceeded to immediately chase Shiva to try out his boon on Him. Shiva acted as is afraid and ran, requesting Vishnu to handle Bhasmasura. Vishnu became a damsel (Mohini) and tricked the fool into placing his hand on his own head, thus reducing him to ashes.

magizhginra mukham uNDu - He has a face that is rejoicing/smiling.
malarp-padattAn - His feet are like flowers.
aruL enra poruL tandAn - He gives the wealth of grace
paNiyum meyyanbarkkE - to true devotees who bow (to Him),
marundenrE tiriginrAn - He roams around as the medicine
piNi koNDa mAndarkkE - for people who have afflictions.
