Meaning:
Will you not listen O mind? I will explain it clearly! Knowingly do not wallow in evil ways, bringing yourself to ruin. This behavior of yours will not bring good to you, nor will it earn you the grace of God. Involve yourself in meditating on God and singing of his name. To the entreaties of the good Tyagaraja, will you not listen?
