Meaning:
Lord of emerald hue! The Lord of the crescent, Siva himself adores you! What a pity that men have not realized your glory! What actions they have done in their past lives! O Abode of virtues, at a tender age, you effortlessly broke the formidable bow of Siva o win the hand of SIta. With just a single arrow you blew to smithereens fourteen thousand bronze chariots and the warriors constituting the formidable reserve forces of RAvaNa. Mighty potentates like RAvaNa obtain all-comprehensive boons from Lord Siva by their austere penances. Formidable, like elephants, they may be, but like a lion, you destroy them root and branch.
