kAyam enRu eDuttu koNDu - taking up a body,
nEyamAna veLi tannil - (residing) in the space that is dear i.e. inner space/heart,
kUDi tirindu - united (yet) transformed,
upAyamAi - using a scheme/method ... (He performs magic)
Note : This verse seems to indicate the idea of Vedanta that the Supreme being becomes the individual soul residing in a body, and in that state, is bound by ego and other limitations.

uNDu paNNi vaikkiRAn - He creates (everything).
koNDu koNDu pOgiRAn - He takes them away.
naDuvAy irukkiRAn - He is neutral
nanRukkum tIdukkum - to good and bad.
paNDu nALum - In the days of yore,
kANavoNNAn - He could not be seen (by Brahma and Vishnu)
veLiyengum pArengum - in space and on earth.

ADikkoNDu - dancing
noNDi kaTTi - lifting one leg as if lame,
ambalattil - in the dancing hall,
aNDar tozha - while Devas salute, (He performs magic)

uNgiRAn urangiRAn - He eats and sleeps,
uruvAm tEr OTTugirAn - he directs the chariot that is this body.
sangItattai mITTugiRAn - He plucks (the instrument) to make music.
tAnE dIpam kATTugiRAn - He displays the lights Himself.
mangaiyuDan kUTTugiRAn - He makes (one) unite with a woman.
malaikka kaN kaTTUgiRAn - He blindfolds (one's) eyes, causing perplexity.
anga linga pIThamAga - Keeping this body as the base of his Lingam,
ingum angumAi asaindu - moving here and there... (He performs magic)
Note : The lord who is Paramatma, in the guise of Jivatma, appears to be limited to the body and is involved in worldly activities and bonds.

kUTTUgiRAn - He makes (people) come together.
vegu saNDai mUTTUgiRan - He creates a lot of rift.
tattuvattin mATTUgiRAn - He causes (one) to be caught in the Tattvas.
ulagam pArATTugirAn - He values the world ( as true).
pinnaiyum - Moreover
kATTu meyyil - in the body that is seen (of)
Or ATTu iDaiyan - a goatherd
anju ADu mEikkiRavan - tending to five goats,
kuDiyirundu - residing
vITTilE - in the house,
ambalattil - in the hall
ARukku appAl - that is beyond the six... (He performs magic)
Note: The five goats refer to the five senses and the goatherd is the Jivatma. The place beyond the six Chakras is the Sahasrara Chakra.
