Meaning:
O Mind! A bath in the holy GangA river destroys sins. True; but meditation on SrI RAma is an infinitely superior bath. Will any number of dips in the rain water wash the stains of deceit and treachery from the heart? Abandoning all desires for the wealth of others and their women, with no malice at heart and goodwill for all, this TyAgarAja has discovered that in this world, comtemplation of SrI RAm is the genuine GangAsnAna (bath in the Ganges).
