Meaning:
Compassionate Rama! Condescend to grace me. Grant me a little of that grace and Bliss which you showered on Sita when you garlanded her on the day of her Swayamvara. Many kinds had arrived, but Sita was feeling restless and kept on asking, "Has the Prince of Ayodhya come?" When she was assured that He was sure to come, she felt relieved and intensely happy. Bless me with little of the joy she had felt then. BUt a strange doubt was gnawing at her heart and she felt unhappy. She addressed her friends and remarked, "I am not aware how many sweethearts like me He has already. Alas! He has not yet arrived." Understanding Sita's misery when a friend begged and pleaded, you suddenly appeared on the scene. Sita's joy reached a crescendo. Lord! Vouchsafe me the joy she felt. As Rama appeared to be just a boy in his teens, Sita began to feel if perchance he was not able to string the bow, her hopes would be dashed to the ground. But Sri Rama, knowing her mind, demonstrated his Cosmic form and set her mind at rest. Bless me with a similar gesture. When you garlanded the peerless Sitadevi, whom no one else but you could dream of attaining, what ecstasy she should have experienced! Please divert a little of that to me. Tell me how I can proclaim to the world the way you redeem devotees, surrendering to them.
