Meaning:
O Mind! Know that he is truly blessed who constantly engages himself in contemplating the feet of Rama. Blessed is he who unflinchingly delights in chanting the name of Rama like Anjaneya and singing His glory. He is dear to the Lord who dances in ecstasy and sings His glory with the tambura in his hands, like sage Tumburu. One who spends his time cheerfully by keeping the company of good; One who gets rid of all worries from his mind by realizing that all else is unreal. He conquers the Lord's affection who, by his discrimination, conquers the six inner enemies (Ari shadvargamula): lust, anger, avarice, etc. and controlling his mind, rests steadfast in the Self. Sri Rama is pleased with the devotee who, knowing Him to be the destroyer of all worldly ills, resposes unquestioning faith in Him. Born as a Bhoosura, if one practices the austerities prescribed for his order, the Lord blesses him with Salvation. One who is not driven by green which makes him take up many roles and causes misery thereby is truly blessed. One who does not put on false garb out of greed for money and deceive himself; One who realizes the nature of the Bliss chanting Rama Nama bestows and fixes his mind on Sundararama while taking part in congregational worship pleases the Lord and compels His attention; One who attains supreme bliss early, as a result of all the above-mentioned efforts. If one avoids the company of men ever engaged in wordly activities reposes unwavering and unquestioning faith in Sri Rama, he is truly blessed with salvation.
